What this site collects
Nothing. The "Text Alec your pin" tool runs only in your browser. If you tap "Share my GPS pin", your browser asks your permission and gives the location to the page on your device; it is put into a text message that your own Messages app opens, and you choose whether to send it. This website never receives, sends or stores your location, vehicle details or anything you type.
The animations (the recovery scene, the terrain scenes, the winch and the 24-hour board) run only in your browser. The site uses no cookies, advertising or tracking. Google Maps and Facebook, if you follow a link to them, have their own privacy policies.
